life is crazy, sometimes

I keep trying to update this blog on a regular basis, but then life happens and it seems to get pushed to the side. So once again, let me update you on the past couple weeks. (I will get better at this updating thing, promise) Ok, where to begin, well.....Let me keep it short and simple.

1. Dave matched to his number 1 spot for residency, Emergency Medicine at York, PA
2. After looking at numerous houses over the course of 3 weeks, we bought a cute little house
3. I've already started interviewing for jobs in the area, praise the Lord!
4. We move May 11!

During the last couple weeks, I'm pretty sure I've told husband a time or two, that life needs to slow down. It's just that everything is happening so fast, but it's all great and exciting at the same time. One thing I've learned through this medical school journey as a wife is that change is an ongoing process, I can certainty get frustrated with all the change (believe me at times, I have) or I can embrace the change and know that everything is going to work out. We'll make new friends, I'll find a great job, residency won't be as scary as random people want to tell me it will be, we'll find a church, and we'll make new memories. Husband and I have lived in 3 different states over the 3 years we've been married and although I can't wait to finally be settled in one spot for at least 3 years,  I've accepted that all this change needed to happen in order to get us where we are today.

Here is a sneak peak of our new HOME!!
Let the packing, painting, and yard work begin!!
