Over the weekend.....

this weekend consisted of campfires, fishing, smores, birthday celebrations and time with family and friends. The weather was perfect and the rain just missed us on Friday night which made for a chilly, but cozy night! While we were camping, Bella was enjoying her time in the open yard, running free. Living in New Jersey, she doesn't get that freedom, so when we visit family she is one happy pup!

Why "Brighton Court Beginnings"?

Brighton Court, in Blacksburg Va, is the little place we called home for our first year as a married couple. I guess you could say the beginning of our little family started there! We added a little chocolate lab puppy along the way and after a year in Virginia, Dave's schooling brought us to New Jersey. If any of you are familiar with Virginia and New Jersey, you might note they are complete opposites, yess we know, night and day different. That being said, we miss parts about Blacksburg, but we love the opportunities that New Jersey has provided for both of us. And that's why Brighton Court marked the beginning of this all!

It's about time.

Husband and I are starting this little blog, as a way to keep friends and family in the loop as we continue on this little journey through school, marriage, and our everyday lives. Not sure how long this blog will last, but here we go.....
